Alarm

Alarm is ringing, announcing the dawn

One that set it the previous night frown

Yes it is the need for the day

Like always, the ‘need’ not be the willing way

Another setting with a different story

Anxious mother of sleeping child feels sorry

With closed eyes, the child is visiting the world of fairy

Delay means missing the bus, is mother’s worry

In the distant there is the passing railway line

Traveller sleeping in a cozy berth of the train

Rubs her eyes and wonders if she missed the station

The sound of alarm makes her peace return

The alarm does not let you down

No matter how you dread to hear its ‘trin trin’

Disturbing your early morning passion

Thank God for its inability to understand your emotion
